Every day we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to hundreds of people. It’s an incredible operation that requires a lot of planning, hard work, effort, talent & teamwork.

As a line cook you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Prepping a wide variety ingredients for cooking.

  • Communicating inventory counts with our food director

  • Daily portioning

  • Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.

  • Executing daily recipes.

  • Maintaining quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods.

  • Operate fryers, ovens, stoves, grills & microwaves.

  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.

  • Kitchen cleanliness standard

  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.

  • For line cook staff the day begins very early with the preparation for breakfast.  As the day continues, you will help the kitchen function to a high standard. You will help prepare the meals, assign tasks to the wider kitchen team, and help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean.

    When the meals are done after dinner and the kitchen and dining room is reset you will be finished for the day.

  • The entire food service team is around 25-35 staff members from around the world. It’s one of the largest teams on camp so you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a lot of great people.

  • No. Our food service role is dependent on experience. We look for a ‘Can do’ attitude.

    The positions are great experience for anyone seeking future employment in the hospitality industry.

  • Yes.

    Our food director will explain in detail how staff time off works during the busy summer season.

  • Yes. Our venue hosts many groups from early May to late September.
